It’s number 13 – let’s make it the biggest and best!

The idea each year on #MedComms Day is simply that everyone mostly does their own thing. So none of us really knows quite what will happen overall. That’s part of the fun of it. The more variety and surprises the better. These days it’s largely a social media event using hashtag #MedComms – but we will keep this page updated with details of all the special events that will be happening, as we get them. If you are organising something please let us know directly so we can add the details below….

Meanwhile for more information or to share ideas at any time, please email Peter Llewellyn on peter@networkpharma.com – and, of course, follow hashtag #MedComms

[MORE INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION DETAILS]

In this webinar, on #MedComms Day 2024, we’ll meet Founding Directors who have recently stepped outside the major networks to launch their own agencies, each with the intention of reshaping the MedComms landscape in uniquely distinct ways. Elena Mills (The Salve Health), James Turnbull (Camino) and Anne Clare Wadsworth (Amica Scientific) will discuss how their deep industry knowledge and extensive experience have informed, enabled and laid the foundations for their unique approaches. Our panelists will explore the challenges of striking out independently, and how they are addressing the evolving needs of their clients in a volatile market, incorporating the latest technologies and setting new standards in the field. And we answer questions from the audience.

Festival of #MedComms: A networking and careers event for professionals in healthcare communications
Online – everyone’s welcome
[MORE INFORMATION AND REGISTRATION DETAILS]

Join us for a virtual Festival of MedComms! Hosted in collaboration between pobl., MedComms Networking, and Pharmiweb, we’re bringing the MedComms community together for a celebratory networking event on #MedComms Day. This event offers the opportunity for peers across the industry to connect and join the discussion.

Now, more important than ever given recent fluctuations in the employment market, this event will enable job seekers to network with agencies across the industry, discuss opportunities directly with employers, and receive career support on the day from agency talent acquisition, HR, and specialist medical writing coaches.

On the day, you’ll find:

  • Networking areas
  • Drop-in keynotes, presentations, and panel discussions
  • 1-2-1 career support with agency talent acquisition/HR
  • The Freelancer Beach Bar
  • An opportunity to meet career coaches for informal chats
  • and much more…!
